Apple, Sultana & Walnut Cake
Yes, it's gluten-free - with a really lovely texture, perfectly balanced flavours and a good crust. We love it with fresh Bonza, Golden Delicious or Pink Lady Apples.
Ingredients: Organic brown rice & buckwheat flour, Australian grown sorghum flour, organic tapioca, pesticide-free almond meal, Harcourt apples, organic raw sugar, organic sultanas, local walnuts, baking powder, baking soda, Australian Pink Lake Salt, organic cinnamon, spices & pure vanilla.
Gluten and yeast free. (Please note allergen advice below)
You will need:
300g fresh apples
2 large, free range eggs
150g (170ml) of good quality olive oil
180g (170ml) of milk
IMPORTANT
Milled on a dedicated gluten free mill and packed in a separate room. Please note however, that our products are NOT certified gluten free.
DELIVERY OR COLLECTION
Option 1 - with fresh fruit included (only in season) - available for collection at the Castlemaine, Lancefield and Woodend Monthly Farmer's Markets. If you can't collect from one of the Markets, just get in touch and we'll make a plan.
Option 2 - for posting without fresh fruit. Anytime of the year.
