Wholegrain Pastry. Sounds a bit scary? Nope. It’s easy, full of flavour and super adaptable. It’s also a wonderfully simple way to experience the different qualities of wholegrain flour. Join us. We’ll show you how easy it is to make light pastry, full of flavour and the goodness of wholegrain flour. Louise is an experienced pastry chef and we’ve loved exploring wholegrain flour in pastry together. We’ll show you how to make both sweet and savoury pastries. Share lots of tips and help you with techniques to give you confidence with wholegrain pastry. Yes, working with wholegrain flour is different to white flour - so much more flavour. Add a simple filling, bake and you have deliciousness all in one. Classes start at 9.30am and end around 1.30pm. Come bake with us and experience the goodness of freshly milled, small batch flour. Morning tea, lunch and a tour of the Goodness Flour Millroom are all included. You'll take home the pastries you've made, 500g of freshly milled Goodness Flour and recipes to fill you with inspiration and confidence.
